Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about buying ebooks, accounts, authors, services and Book Clubs on Book Writting.
Buying and reading
What is Book Writting?
Book Writting Ltd is an ebook store and author platform. You can buy and read ebooks, request writing and publishing services, join Book Clubs, and — if you are an author — publish and promote your work.
How do I buy an ebook?
Sign in, open the title, tap Add to cart, then go to My account → Cart to check out. After payment, the file appears under My books with a download link. Cart and checkout live in your account, not in the top menu.
Do I need an account to buy?
Yes. Sign in or create a reader account first. That keeps your downloads in one place so you can come back to them later.
Where are my purchased books?
Open My account and choose My books. Each paid title has a download link. Links can expire or reach a download limit — if that happens, contact us with your order details.
Are the books ebooks or print?
The catalogue on this site is ebooks (PDF), delivered as a download. Print, audio production and other formats can be requested as a paid service from the Services page.
Free books and adult titles
How do free books work?
Free titles show as Free on the book page. Sign in, then use Read (opens the PDF in the browser) or Download. You do not add a free book to the cart.
A free book will not open. What should I do?
If the file is missing we show a message on the book page. Try another title, or contact us and we will check the file.
Where are adult books?
Titles that discuss sexual activity are not listed on the public ebook pages. Sign in, open the dashboard, and choose Adult books. You must confirm you are 18 or older before you can browse or buy them.
Accounts
What is the difference between a reader and an author account?
A reader account is for buying, downloads, courses and Book Clubs. An author account is approved by our team and unlocks the author dashboard: submitting books, an author page, promotions and service quote requests.
How do I become an author?
Sign in as a reader, open My content, and apply to be an author. You can also use Join as author in the header — that still sends an application. We review it in the admin. Once approved, you get the author dashboard and can submit books.
I already have a reader account. Do I need a second email?
No. Apply from My content using the same sign-in. After approval, that same email becomes your author login.
How do I become an affiliate?
On My content, apply to be an affiliate. Add your email, socials and payout details. We verify the application. When it is approved you receive a link you can use to promote ebooks.
How do I reset my password?
On the Sign in page, use Forgot your password? We will email a reset link if that address has an account.
Authors and services
How do I submit a book for publishing?
You need an approved author account. Then use My content on the author dashboard to send an ebook, audiobook, podcast or manuscript. Our team reviews the file before it is published.
What author services do you offer?
Writing and ghostwriting, editing and proofreading, cover design, audiobook production, publishing and launch, and more. Prices on the Services page are starting-from guides. Use Get a quote on a service card.
What is the Author marketing toolkit?
Pre-designed tools such as launch funnels, social templates and email sequences. You can browse them from Services (at the bottom of that page) or from your dashboard. Full templates unlock with a subscription.
How do book promotions work?
Approved authors can buy Featured, Promoted or Sponsored placements from Promotions in the author dashboard. Those boost where the book appears in the catalogue.
Subscriptions, audio and Book Clubs
What does a subscription include?
A subscription unlocks metered access to audio books, podcasts and book summaries, plus extras such as the marketing toolkit templates. Limits depend on the Starter, Plus or Pro plan. Manage it under Subscription in your account.
Where are audio books and the podcast?
Those sit behind a subscription and are reached from the dashboard, not the main header. Sign in, subscribe if needed, then open Audio books, Podcast or Summaries from your account.
What are Book Clubs?
Book Clubs is the community area: posts, groups, events and meetups. Anyone can browse. Sign in to post, join a club, or create a member page to share what you are reading.
Can I share a short story?
Yes. Signed-in readers can submit a short story from My content. It appears on the Book Clubs feed. You can also keep a personal member page.
Adverts, affiliates and partnerships
How do I advertise a book on Book Writting?
Use Advertise with us. Every advert is reviewed, then paid placements usually run two weeks. Read the Adverts Policy first. Featured, Promoted and Sponsored boosts for titles you already publish are bought from the author dashboard after you are approved as an author.
How do affiliates work?
Sign in, open My content, and apply. After we approve you, share your link (ebooks?ref=YOURCODE). Commission rates are confirmed when you are approved. The Affiliates page has the rules, including that you must say you may earn a commission.
Do you work with other publishers?
Yes, by arrangement. The Partnerships page explains listing, co-marketing and services introductions. Email hello@bookwritting.com with the subject Partnership. Affiliates and one-off adverts are separate products.
Help
What is the Find a book button?
The button at the bottom right is a simple assistant. It searches our public ebook list and answers basic questions such as prices, free books and how to buy. It does not replace our team for orders or applications.
How do I contact you?
Use the Contact page and send a message. Include your account email and, for a purchase, the order reference if you have one.
Still stuck? Contact us or use Find a book at the bottom of the page.
